AIR QUALITY MONITORING FOR SMOKE FROM FIRES IN 2021Fire experiments, organized by ADAI (Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics), were conducted on May 20th, 2021, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Miranda do Moncorvo (40.0427N, -8.2763W). Multiple plots were burned during the experiments. The FIRESMOKE project team was in attendance and conducted air quality monitoring using two mobile stations from MONITAR and IDAD (Institute of Environment and Development). Additionally, videos were recorded, and photos were taken. |

AIR QUALITY MONITORING FOR SMOKE FROM FIRES IN 2023Fire experiments, organized by the ADAI (Association for the development of Industrial Aerodynamics), were conducted on May 10th, 2023, between 12 p.m. and 1:11 p.m. at Malhadas Wind Park, situated in the Union of Parishes of Cadafaz and Colmeal, within the municipality of Góis. Two plots were intentionally burned during the experiments. The FIRESMOKE project team was present and conducted air quality monitoring using one mobile station from IDAD (Institute of Environment and Development). Additionally, videos were recorded, and photos were taken. |
